Yep, I'm adorable! I am approximately 5 years old and 9 lbs, white with light tan spots throughout my coat. I also have a docked tail . . .we're not sure why someone would want to dock my tail, but it's kinda cute! I was brought to the shelter after being picked up by a good samaritan that found me on the side of the road with an injury to my head . . .luckily it wasn't anything a tough guy like me couldn't handle. I am looking for a one person home as I don't like to share my affection - and hey, a handsome fella like me should get what he wants. I adore attention and would love to be someone's lap dog . . .I don't mind other well mannered dogs, but if you're too jumpy I'll put you in your place. Oh, and please keep those really little kids away, they're a bit too much for a "height challenged" guy like me!! I have had some formal training in my past because I heel when walked and can sit on command. Once I know you I will snuggle with you all day long. Here's the catch: I do have little man complex . . .I will lift my leg to let everyone know it's my turf. I will need a family that is willing to teach me to save my leg lifting for outside only! I can be taught, and trainers have suggested using an air horn and/or spray bottle to help deter this, um, little problem I have. ***This is one special little dog that deserves a FOREVER home. We are looking for a pet savvy home (folks with Chihuahua past a plus). We recommend crate training and perhaps a few sessions with an accredited dog trainer. He will make someone very happy, once he bonds, he really bonds!! Due to our limited number of volunteers and staff, we are requesting that all interested parties please email the shelter.
